Arts Entrepreneurship Minor Information Session

Interested in the Arts Entrepreneurship minor? Join us next Wednesday, November 2nd at noon in Arches Lounge for an info session and pizza lunch. Faculty will talk through the requirements of the minor, provide information on internship opportunities, and discuss the UNIV 199 Arts Entrepreneurship intro course being offered in the spring. Juniper Networks is as big name high tech, and as Silicon Valley, as it gets:  They make the hardware that directs and secures the internet. Their portfolio includes top-of-the-line routers, switches, security, cloud, and datacenter products and services.  (They’re a big competitor of Cisco Systems, if that helps to place Juniper in the industry, except they’re higher-end, more agile, and exclusively sell business-to-business, which is why they haven’t been heard of by the local area.)  Juniper sells to most of the biggest banks, tech giants, universities, and governments in the world – from Apple to Bucknell University.
