HIGHWALD Winter 2025 Analyst Internship

About Highwald

Highwald is a private investment firm focused on lower market investment opportunities in the United  States. The firm was founded in 2024 by Fritz von Guionneau to acquire, operate, and grow high quality  small businesses, and own them indefinitely. Highwald is focused on services and manufacturing  companies in core industries that supply or service core human needs, for example, our energy, water,  food, and communication requirements.

Prior to Highwald, Fritz was Co-Head of Direct Investments at Continental Grain Company, a family owned investor and operator of industrial and services businesses. He was responsible for leading new  investments and partnering with portfolio companies. He previously was a Board Director for Agile Cold  Storage and Kinder’s Holdings. He also worked at Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based Private Equity firm  with >$23 billion in assets under management, and at Bain & Company in their San Francisco and London  offices. He has been involved in private investments totaling over $10 billion in transaction value. He holds  an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Oxford.

Fritz lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and their son. Outside of spending time with family, Fritz loves to  play golf, hunt, and fish.
