Saturday Feb 8 Sponsored by The Griot Institute
The Department of Theatre and Dance and The Griot Institute are co-sponsoring a trip to NYC. A few seats remain.The bus is leaving Bucknell at 7:30 am on Saturday, February 8. We will depart NYC at 9pm and arrive back to campus around 1am. We are going to the Whitney Museum, which currently has an Alvin Ailey exhibit, Edges of Ailey.
Participants should reserve tickets for the Whitney Museum ASAP:
- free to 19-25 year olds;
- students $25 if over 25 years;
- Adults over 25 years $30 )
If you go on the trip, please budget for meals and anything you decide to do on your own. If you are a student and concerned about cost, please let us know.
After the museum visit, the events are optional. You are free to spend time at events/activities of your choosing as long as you are on time for the bus departure at 9 pm.
Bus seats are limited; please email Michelle Lauver (mll030@bucknell.edu) if interested and committed to traveling to NYC for the day. We will take names as we receive them and notify you if you have a seat.
