Join the Office of Equity and Inclusive Excellence, the Griot Institute and Civic Engagement for the Fight for Your Right to Turbo with Dr. Cymone Fourshey and Theresa Cusimano, J.D.
Dr. Fourshey and Cusimano will illustrate the impacts of protests on electoral and legislative reforms (7 – 7:20 pm) followed by the non-partisan Bison Votes team of peer educators and the League of Women Voters (7:20 – 8 pm) who will share everything participants need to engage in the Nov. 3rd election and support others in registering before Oct. 19th, requesting a ballot by mail prior to the Oct. 27th deadline and casting votes before 8 pm on Nov. 3rd. Continued dialogue for those who wish will continue from 8:00 pm through 8:30 pm.
